Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen raw peeled, deveined large shrimp, thawed
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp butter, divided
- 1 lemon, halved
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 baguette, to serve
Steps
- Pat the shrimp dry. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, thyme, paprika, and cayenne.
- Heat a large cast-iron or heavy-duty pan on medium-high, and melt 1 tbsp butter. Add half of the shrimp and sauté 3–4 min., flipping halfway, until shrimp are fully cooked. Transfer shrimp to a large platter. Repeat with remaining 1 tbsp butter and shrimp.
- Squeeze a lemon half over shrimp on platter. Garnish with the green onions and remaining lemon wedges. Serve with the baguette.
