A big-batch drink lets guests help themselves. In this one, apple cider and apple brandy join forces with citrus and whiskey for the perfect autumn cocktail.
- ½ gallon apple cider
- 1 cup apple brandy
- ¾ cup whiskey
- ¾ cup lemon juice (from about 4-5 lemons)
- 2 oranges
- In a punch bowl, stir together the apple cider, brandy, whiskey, and lemon juice. Cut the oranges into thin half-moon slices and add to bowl. Serve punch over ice.
To serve 4: Halve ingredient amounts and serve in a pitcher.
To serve 16: Double ingredient amounts and serve in a larger punch bowl.
UPGRADE: Make a pretty ice ring for the punch bowl by layering lemon and orange slices in a bundt pan, filling it with water, and freezing. Dip the pan in hot water to release.
