Our Boston baked beans are a delectable, savory side dish that requires almost no prep time.
- 5 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup diced onion
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- 3 (15 oz) cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- Add the bacon to a skillet and cook over high heat for 5 min. Add the onion and sauté for an additional 5 min.
- Set bacon and onions in the bowl of a slow cooker with remaining ingredients. Add 1 cup water and stir ingredients to combine. Cook on high for 3 hours.
If you like your chili extra-spicy, add a few more chipotle peppers.
